Ostara, aka the Spring Equinox, is the time to celebrate springs long awaited arrival. This is the marker of the balance between light and darkness, night and day. Ostara is the Norse goddess of fertility. She is honored on this day, and prayed to for upcoming fertility of crops, plants and trees, animals and even us humans. Her symbol is the rabbit and the egg. This is the time when the first buds are perparing to blossom over a long winters wait. It is the time that the animals bare their childern. It is the time of new beginning, and to reflect on your dreams that you wish to be grown in the upcoming year.
