Imbolic, aka the "Feast of Brighid" celebrates the upcoming spring. Brighid is the Celtic goddess of healing, poetry, and smithcrafts. The days are getting longer, and the warmth of Brighid are found within this day. It is a period of new beginning and growth. It is the time to reflect on you goals and dreams for the year. This is the time to pray to the pregnat moon goodess that will soon be giving birth, to her son, the sun god. Imbolic, which also meanis "In Milk", is the time when pregnat sheep or ewes begin to lactate.
